ONE of the calendar’s naughty but nice pictures
A SAUCY glimpse of stocking tops will bring back calendar-girl memories of the 1950s — and raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The retro calendar is the brainchild of model and dancer Laura Norrey who enlisted the help of 11 other burlesque dancers for the Memory Lane calendar.
Laura said: “I have experienced the devastation caused by Alzheimer’s first-hand as I have watched my own grandmother, Irene, change from a vibrant, independent lady to a frail, helpless shadow of her former self.
“The Memory Lane calendar project was born from my desire to help other individuals in a similar situation.”
Failsworth photographer Terry McNamara helped to put the calendar together.
Terry teamed up with Laura, of Heald Green, while on a photoshoot where she explained her idea to him.
He shot the girls in locations and studios across Manchester The calendar will go on sale in October. See www.facebook.com/memorylanecalendar for more details
