Tutor Roger takes gold

OLDHAM College’ Roger Grogan has been named tutor of the year by a “Dragons’ Den” TV star.
He scooped the accolade at the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy entrepreneur of the year awards.
Thirty six colleges have the enterprise academies, which combine study, internship and masterclasses.
Mr Grogan has been involved in the college’s academy since it was started in 2010 and has tutored more than 90 students.
He said: “I am passionate about enterprise and the role it has to play in the future of our country.”
