Date published: 13 August 2012
FRIENDS and relatives of 16-year-old fall victim Kyle Winterbottom have held a moving candlelit vigil in his memory.
Family and friends of Kyle, who died last wek in a 40ft fall, paid tribute to the popular teenager.
Dozens of people paid their respects at Limeside Park, close to Kyle’s home, and lit lanterns and candles. They also held a minute’s silence.
Organiser and best friend Sam Higgins said: “He deserves to be remembered. We reminisced about him. It was important because he was popular and well-loved.”
Friends of the teen are now focused on helping his family, who have been struggling to pay for the funeral.
