£100,000 worth of watches, cars and cash seized

POLICE have swooped on more local criminals and seized almost £100,000.
Officers carried out raids on three addresses in Chadderton and Milnrow, confiscating goods and cash worth £98,000.
The raids were part of the force’s continuing war on organised crime and its proceeds.
The latest raids saw police arrest a 27-year-old man on suspicion of money laundering and fraud.
They seized £18,000 in cash, two vehicles worth £30,000 and watches worth around £50,000.
Chief Supt Tim Forber, of Oldham police said: “We are determined to crack down on those who make their living from crime, and my message to anyone doing so is simple — you may think you are getting away with it, but we will catch you.”
