A TOTAL of 97.1 per cent of A-level students achieved A* to E grades and a third achieved A* to B at North Chadderton School.
Head teacher Joy Clark said: “We are extremely proud of the school’s A-level and AS level achievements.
“The sixth form continues to go from strength to strength and there is a very bright future ahead for students as we are about to open our new sixth-form accommodation.”
Student Adam Fearn (18), from Chadderton got an A* in English language, an A in English literature and a B in ITC. Now bound for Manchester University to study English and linguistics, he said: “I worked very hard and am very pleased.”
Head girl Nicole Aston (18), from Chadderton, achieved an A in graphics, an A in business studies and a B in English literature and will now go to Nottingham University to study management and Chinese studies.
She said: “I did a lot better than I expected and I’m delighted.”
Jade Whittaker (18), from Chadderton, got an A* and an A in applied business and an A in psychology and was “over the moon” with her grades.
She will study business management at Lancaster University.
