GCSE RESULTS: OASIS Academy Oldham pupils Naomi Sutton and Ikra Majid took the A-route to GCSE success.
The friends chalked up a clean-sweep of 18 top A* and A grades between them.
Naomi was overwhelmed with her six A*s and three As, and said: “My results are the reward for a lot of hard work so I couldn’t be more pleased.”
Proud Ikra Majid, from Chadderton, achieved three A*s and six As and will be going to Oldham Sixth Form College with Naomi.
She said: “I’m really pleased with my grades. It feels great to have the piece of paper that brings it all together.”
The academy moves into a new £35million building in Hollins in September.
