ELATED: Oldham Academy North pupils, Feiruz Abdullahi, Amina Begum, Aysha Begum, Karima Begum, Khadiza Begum, Abdul Amin Gani, Abul Hussein, Farjana Khatun, Moryam Begum and Farzana Yasmin, celebrate a round of top results.
GCSE RESULTS: OLDHAM Academy North is celebrating another record year, with its pass rate now 10 per cent higher than when it opened.
The Rochdale Road school saw 47 per cent of pupils achieve five A*-C grades, including maths and English.
This is up two per cent since last year’s 44 per cent pass rate and 10 per cent on 2010.
Colette Burgess, principal at the academy, said: “We’ve had another fantastic year here at the Oldham Academy North and I am very pleased with our students’ results.”
