GCSE RESULTS: THE head boys and girl at The Radclyffe School came top of the class with their outstanding GCSE results.
This year the school achieved 50 per cent of its results at grades A* - C — maintaining the standard of previous years.
Star performer Harvey Jones from Moston, gained 9A*s, and 2As — but despite fabulous results was disappointed with his B in astronomy.
The deputy head boy is going to Blue Coat College to study maths, further maths, physics and art and is hoping to go on to be an architect.
Nazmul Khan, of Westwood wowed his teachers with 4A*s, 6As and 2Cs and is going on to study maths, physics, economics and history at Oldham Sixth Form.
And head girl Laura Broome from Chadderton was equally ecstatic with 4A*s, 5As, 2Bs and 3Cs —and so were her parents.
She’s off to Oldham Sixth Form to do PE, law, psychology and health and social care.
Among the other top achievers were Tahmid Alam, Clara Harvey Hunt, Ehsan Javaid, Mandana Neakhjad and Yukhsaee Tariq.
Head teacher Hardial Hayer said: “This is another strong set of results which continues The Radclyffe School ethos of striving towards excellence.”
