Soap star stumped
Date published: 27 August 2012
OLDHAM-born soapstar Kelvin Fletcher and his little brother Brayden missed out on a million — but scooped £20,000 for charity.
The actor, who plays Andy Sugden in “Emmerdale”, was on a “School’s Out” edition of “Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, with his 15-year-old brother yesterday.
They bowed out after getting stumped on a question about the number of spoken languages in the world. The answer was 7,000.
The pair banked £20,000 for The Cardiomyopathy Association, for families affected by the heart-muscle disease and Debra, which helps with the genetic skin blistering condition epidermolysis bullosa.
