Number cruncher is sum-thing special

NUMBER whizz . . . Daniel McLoughlin
WHILE his classmates are about to start GCSE maths, Daniel McLoughlin is gearing up for an A-level.
Daniel, (14) from Chadderton, scooped an A* in GCSE maths last year — when he was 13.
His teachers at Blue Coat School were so impressed they decided to put him forward for additional maths —, between a GCSE and an A-level — and he got an A, the highest grade.
Proud dad Gary said: “We are over the moon at what Daniel has achieved.
“He has been going to maths lessons with his own year group and also joining in the A-level classes, so he’s really put in a lot of hard work.
“It’s been such a brilliant year for him.”
