Playing a part in sound of summer
Date published: 07 September 2012
OLDHAM town centre will be alive with the sound of music on Sunday as local performers take part in the Bandstand Marathon: Oldham in Tune!
The music will range from country-style rock to the traditional sounds of Oldham Music Service Youth Brass Band.
The event will celebrate the end of the London Games and showcase the diversity of British music.
The performances will join hundreds of outdoor community performances taking place across the country in a “Bandstand Marathon”.
