AN Oldham dance troupe has struck gold and will celebrate with a party in the park — the Olympic Park.
Earl Dance Centre has been selected by the London Games organisers to perform in the Olympic Park tomorrow.
The eight-strong group of 12 to 32-year-olds will be performing their street, R&B and hip-hop routines all day.
Group leader Yolanda Blades said: “We are thrilled to be invited. I danced at the Olympic closing ceremony, so I know what a buzz the group will get.
“The Olympic Park is a spectacular venue and I’m sure we’ll all remember this as a once in a life opportunity.”
