DUNWOOD Park is set for an afternoon to remember as it celebrates its centenary and unveils its grand regeneration.
On Saturday the Friends of Dunwood Park will host a family day to show off how the £1.4 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund has been spent.
The park now boasts three tennis courts, a bowling pavilion, a community hall, new flower beds, a grass stage area and even a duck-feeding platform!
Simon Crompton Lees-Milne - a descendant of Alice Milne, who rebuilt Crompton Hall - will open the celebrations at noon.
The day will feature music, street theatre and comedy acts, a bowls contest, afternoon tea and the unveiling of a sculpture by Mossley artist Mike Green.
