BRAVE Harley Hesford is showing great signs of improvement since a major operation to strengthen his leg tissue and muscles.
The Chronicle reported how before the operation - performed by American specialists three months ago - the nine-year-old cerebral palsy sufferer couldn’t walk without leg splints and a frame.
The Failsworth primary school boy can now walking on a treadmill and cycle on a special bike to build up his strength - and has even begun to take small steps unaided.
Dad Paul said: “He is making good progress, we just need to keep going to achieve his goal of walking unaided.” See a video of Harley’s progress at www.harleysquest.co.uk.
