Police raids over shooting search

POLICE have raided a house in Coppice and another in Stalybridge in connection with the killing of David Short in a gun and grenade attack last month.
Officers from GMP’s Tactical Firearms Unit carried out the raids on Friday morning.
Two men aged 37 and 32 were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and have been bailed.
But police continue to search for Dale Cregan (29), from the Droylsden area, wanted in connection with Mr Short’s murder in Clayton on August 10.
A £50,000 reward is still being offered to infromation leading to his arrest.
