£1.5m boost for Greenfield homes
Date published: 18 September 2012
A £1.5 MILLION project will build 41 new homes in Greenfield under the ‘Get Britain Building’ programme.
Wiggett Homes is to continue its work on the second phase of development at Heron’s Reach, off Chew Valley Road, which involves 12 apartments and 29 houses.
The £570 million Get Britain Building programme is helping builders to provide more than 15,000 new homes by the end of 2014. The scheme lends money to projects at commercial rates, or takes equity in projects to spread risk. Investments are recoverable over two to five years.
Phil Wiggett, MD of Wiggett, said: “Heron’s Reach stalled some time ago, so we’re pleased the HCA is supporting us. Work will restart very soon.”
