Spindles rape: man charged

A 31-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the rape of a 13-year-old boy in the Spindles Shopping Centre.
Matt Leigh Tyler, of Parkway, Chadderton, was charged with two offences of rape at Oldham Magistrates Court yesterday.
Police were called to Spindles at 4.35pm on Monday following reports of a rape in the toilets.
Tyler was remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on Thursday, October 11.
