A MAN who told a court about his drug-dealing empire during a murder trial has been jailed for six years.

Milad Finn (24) admitted conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine, production of cannabis, converting criminal property and assisting the commission of offences at Manchester Crown Court.

Finn made extensive admissions about his drug dealing while giving evidence on trial for the murder of Oldhamer Junaid Khan, for which he was acquitted. Mr Khan had been shot in a car park in Block Lane, Chadderton in July 2009.

Finn, of no fixed address, but formerly of Cheadle, was one of three men found innocent during the murder trial last year.

Court transcripts were later obtained and an investigation launched into Finn’s admissions in court.

Finn had explained how he set up his own drug-dealing empire and imported large amounts of mixing agents from China and the UK. He admitted making in excess of £340,000 from his activities.

An investigation into Finn’s financial affairs continues.
