Driver rescued

A WOMAN had to be rescued from an overturned car after a crash in Ripponden Road, Denshaw, last night.
A male passenger escaped from the car, which was resting on its passenger side, but the 27-year-old driver had to be freed by firefighters.
Paramedics and an air ambulance also attended and the woman was later taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
She was not thought to be suffering serious injury.
