Man traps hand in machine

A 47-year-old man fractured his arm after his left hand was trapped in a conveyor belt.
Firefighters from Oldham, Chadderton and Ashton were called to the laundry room at the Royal Oldham Hospital yesterday evening to free the worker in a delicate procedure that took 35 minutes.
Police are now investigating the incident.
