Police hunt for armed raiders

POLICE have issued CCTV images of robbers who threatened shop workers at knife point.
The raid happened at High Crompton Post Office, Thornham Road, on the evening of August 24.
A black Ford Focus pulled up on the Post Office car park and two men went into the shop. One forced a shop assistant to the floor and threatened him with a large knife, while his accomplice forced the woman behind the counter to hand over cash from the till, threatening her with a machete.
Neither victim was injured.
One of the robbers is described as around 5ft 8in, of medium build and was wearing a black three-quarter-length coat with a white design on the upper left sleeve. HIs face was covered with tights over a balaclava and he carried the machete,
The other man was around 6ft and of large build, wore a red hoodie with white writing on the front and had tights over his head. He carried the knife.
