Sex charges man in ‘not guilty’ plea

A man has been appeared in court to face two sexual offences that allegedly took place 30 years ago.

Peter Jones of Duchess Street, Shaw, is accused of two counts of indecently assaulting a girl when she was aged nine or 10, between 1980-1984. He pleads not guilty.

He will appear at Oldham Magistrates Court for committal proceedings on December 10.
