Hunt for attackers

A group of youths who attacked a Royton man have come under fire from a police inspector.
The 33-year-old man went outside his home in Oldham Road after a bottle had been thrown at his window.
The yobs involved assaulted the householder, who ran into the Railway pub as the attackers ran off.
The victim was treated for cuts and a bump on the head. Witnesses are asked to contact police at Oldham by calling 101.
