Helpful youth beaten unconscious

A TEENAGE boy who thought he was helping someone in trouble was lured into a trap, robbed and slashed with a craft knife.
The 17 year old was in an alleyway yards from his home on Oakbank Avenue, Chadderton when a man said his friend was in trouble. As the boy followed, he was punched in the head and knocked off his feet, at which point the offenders punched and kicked him and stole his laptop computer as they knocked him unconscious.
The attackers are white and about 20. One was wearing a dark hooded top and dark gloves.
