Woman in knife-point robbery ordeal

A WOMAN was robbed at knifepoint as she made a cash collection round in Shaw.
The victim, employed by a financial services company, was making her way back to her car when she was confronted by an armed man who pushed her to the ground.
The thief produced a knife and demanded cash.
Frightened she would be stabbed, she was frogmarched to her car and the thief made off with a wad of £20 notes and fled.
The robber is described as white, stocky, about 5ft 6in and in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing a black woollen beanie hat, black nylon jacket and had a scarf over his face.
Police are now appealing for information about the robbery, which occurred on Friday evening.
