THE results are in, the votes have been counted and verified and the time has now come to announce who has won the Chronicle Top Tots Competition this year has been fierce as entrants fought it out over three categories — under one, one to three and three to five.
Boys have won all three categories and five of the six runners-up slots in this year’s Chronicle’s Top Tots contest..
The winner of the under-one category was 11-month-old Jaylen-Kai O’Donnell, whose mum Leigh is justifiably proud.
“He’s my little prince! I was just screaming when I found out he’d won,” she said.
Runners-up in the category were Liberty-Mae Gardiner (six months) and Max Holden (three months).
The winner of the one-to-three category was 21-month-old Ismail Mohammed, whose mum Sofia Azeem, of Littlebank Street, Clarksfield, said: “I am really happy Ismail has won. When I looked at all the other babies I thought they were all so cute so I am made up that he has won.”
Runners-up in the one to threes category were Lewis Ackers (one) and Leighton Crawford (two).
Three-year-old James Josey came out top in the three-five category. Mum Jenny Moore, of Tanners Fold, Fitton Hill, said: “I am over the moon that James has won and really proud of him. I never expected him to come top.”
Runners-up in the three to fives category were Riley Milne (four) and Nicholas Unsworth (four).
