CCTV: Mr Kershaw at Tesco on the day of his death
POLICE have released a CCTV image of the last known movements of Rochdale pensioner Vincent Kershaw (84), who was found dead at his home.
An image of Mr Kershaw shopping at Tesco Express in Dale Street, Milnrow at lunchtime on October 4 has been released in the hope someone can piece together his final movements.
He had last been seen travelling by bus and taxi in Rochdale and Shaw on his way to Milnrow.
Officers were called to his house on Willows Lane, Milnrow, on Sunday, October 14, following reports of a concern for his welfare.
A post mortem concluded that Mr Kershaw died from head injuries.
He was believed to carry large amounts of cash and his wallet, which may have contained as much as £3,000, is missing.
Anyone with information should phone police on 0161-856 2027 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
