Award caps a vintage year for Samantha

SAMANTHA Ludlam has strutted to success with an award for her business.
Despite opening her online store J’Adore Vintage only last year, the 31 year old from High Crompton, has been hailed the Best Vintage Clothes Shop in the Vintage Manchester 2012 Awards.
The shop sells items from the 1920s to the 1980s, reworked to make them wearable today.
And after more than 15,000 votes were counted, Samantha enjoyed picking up her trophy at a ceremony in Manchester.
Samantha loves vintage because it’s “quirky and unique”.
She is organising a charity fashion show of her designs at Shaw’s Playhouse 2 on November 23. proceeds will go to charity The Christie.
