Stand well back for a firecracker
Date published: 30 October 2012
FANTASTIC fireworks and family fun will be the headline attractions as Oldham’s Bonfire Night experience returns with a bang.
A spectacular fireworks display will be the centrepiece of the free event at Boundary Park on November 5 after an absence of more than a decade.
Pyrotechnics will be provided by Fantastic Fireworks — one of the longest-established firms in the industry.
There will also be a range of family-oriented attractions, including a small bonfire, games and activities, plus food stalls selling traditional grub.
Two stunning shows from FlameOz — a multi-award-winning fireshow that has performed across the globe — will also wow the crowd.
Oldham Council will be releasing further details, including event timings, in the run-up to Guy Fawkes Night. Updates are also being promoted on Twitter using the #backwithabang hashtag.
