OLDHAMERS went along to the opening of the new East Oldham District Town Hall to see what services it has to offer.
Councillor Shadab Qumer, chairman of East Oldham District Partnership, cut the ribbon at the Holt Street base.
Residents were able to meet local councillors and pop in to see what services are available, including weekly citizens’ advice bureau sessions, First Choice Homes surgeries, activities for mums and tots, and a computer suite for community groups and individuals.
The town hall is also home to the East Oldham District Team.
Councillor Qumer said people were already starting to use the service.
