Four members of Staff with nearly 100yrs Sevice retire from P.C.T Service Dept' Barry Edwards, Jm greenwood, Alan Collins, Tom Cullinan.
Four pals who have worked for the NHS for a combined 96 years have bowed out of their trade and into retirement.
Jim Greenwood, Barry Edwards, Alan Collins and Tom Cullinan have spent the week saying fond farewells to everyone they’ve come to befriend in their long-standing tender, before finishing their final shift yesterday.
Tom, despite spending 12 years on the estates department within the Pennine Care Trust, is still classed as the baby of the group, with Barry clocking up 22 years, Alan 26 years and Jim has made his mark over 36 years.
They were each presented with leaving gifts and were enjoying a party with friends, family and colleagues today.
Jim said: “With the nature of our jobs being to look after buildings, machines and equipment for patients coming into or leaving hospital, we’ve seen it all.”
