Five held over £1.5m drug haul

POLICE have seized £1.5million of drugs after arrests in Yorkshire led them to Failsworth.
Three men, believed to be travelling from Manchester to Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, were stopped in Halifax with cocaine on them.
Police then swooped on addresses in Failsworth, where two more people were arrested and more than 11 kilos of heroin and cocaine were recovered.
A 23-year-old female and a 28-year-old man from Manchester were arrested. Two men, aged 21 and 22, from Thornaby, and another, aged 34, from Middlesbrough, have also been arrested in a joint operation between police in Greater Manchester and Cleveland.
