McDonalds backing and Latics
OLDHAM Athletic has teamed up with McDonald’s to boost their programme of community activities.
The fast-food chain, which has outlets in Broadway, Chadderton, Oldham town centre, Huddersfield Road and the Elk Mill retail park, has signed up as a partner to Latics Community Trust, which offers sporting and educational opportunities for youngsters throughout the borough.
The company has given the trust £4,000 to make sure its work can reach as many local children as possible.
David Broadbent, Latics’ sales and marketing executive, said: “I’m delighted to have McDonald’s involved with the trust.
“The trust undertakes invaluable work within the area and represents the football club in a superb manner.
“To attract support from a company such as McDonald’s will help us to showcase the great work they carry out and I can’t thank them enough for joining with us as the club’s community partner.”
