School reunion

CROMPTON House School students from the class of 1979 are invited to a grand reunion.

The 70s-themed event will be held at The Cartshaft Working Men’s Club in St Mary’s Gate from 8pm on Saturday, January 5.

Event organiser Debi Hawkins (nee Nicholson) said: “It’s hoped that as many who can will attend.

“The last reunion we had was over 10 years ago and we had about 45 people there. This time we are all turning 50 so it would be good to see everyone again. Partners are welcome!”
