LADIES, it’s that time of year when we all start to ask the same question — how am I going to afford a work’s Christmas do outfit which not only looks gorgeous but doesn’t cost the Earth?
With the new BHS store opening in Spindles yesterday, I decided to set to work and find that one outfit which would see me through the party season, family meals and evenings in with my best friends and plenty of mulled wine and snacks.
I had a budget of £50, but with BHS offering 20 per cent off all items in store until December 20, I knew I’d be able to hunt down something I loved for much less.
I loved all four outfits outfits, but for me the pedlum frill sealed the deal.
It will hide the bulge of the extra portion of Christmas buffet I’m bound to tuck into, and the jeans were super comfy for hours of dancing.
Imagine my delight when, as I took my items to be scanned through at the till, a further 30 per cent was taken off my top, taking my outfit price down to just over £36!
The store is dotted with items that are already on sale, and with your 20 per cent discount voucher you can’t really go far wrong.
With the money I’ve saved, I’m off to buy a drink and something to eat in the cafe. Shopping is such hard work. Cheers!
