TWIN chefs from Chadderton have bagged a dream supermarket deal which will launch their new sauce range.
Lisa and Helen Tse, from the Sweet Mandarin restaurant in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, won Gordon Ramsay’s Best Local Chinese Restaurant on “The F Word” programme and appeared on BBC Two’s “Dragons’ Den”.
Now their three gluten-free sauces — barbecue, sweet chilli and sweet & sour — hit the “Free From” aisles of Sainsbury’s on Tuesday, December 4.
Using secret recipes passed down through generations, Lisa adds a modern take on the authentic flavours and aromas found in China’s street markets in every bottle.
Lisa said: “It’s a dream come true for a British manufacturer like us.”
