Festival of carols

GET into the festive spirit with a night of Christmas carols at Oldham Parish Church.
The Oldham Chronicle Festival of Carols takes place on Thursday, from 7.30pm. Guests can enjoy musical performances from Crompton House School, East Crompton St James School, The Muso’s Choir, Higher Failsworth School, St Anne’s CE School, Lydgate, and The Pennine Trust Choir. Singer Caroline Simister will perform a solo set accompanied by organist Les Garner. Marjorie Stephinson MBE will be host for the evening.
The event is in aid of the Mayor’s Appeal and a minimum donation of £2 is requested in exchange for a programme.
