Axed Remploy workers toil

ONLY one in 12 of Oldham remploy’s redundant disabled workers have found new jobs after government help.
Only 13 of the 109 staff who lot tehir jobs when the Remploy factory was axed are known to be in fresh employment, new figures show.
The statistics came as the Department for Work and Pensions announced 10 more factory closures yesterday.
Ministers ignored Labour calls for the closure programme — of up to 36 bases across the country — to be put on hold.
