Roads closed by snow

HEAVY snow and ice forced road closures last night.
Holmfirth Road was shut both ways from Chew Valley Road in Greenfield to Woodhead Road in Holmfirth at around 9pm last night, but reopened at 7.30am today.
Huddersfield Road in Denshaw was closed in both directions from the Denshaw crossroads to Moselden Heights in West Yorkshire and reopened before rush hour this morning.
And Oldham Road was closed from the junction at Buckstones Road at Grains Bar to the Rochdale Road junction in Ripponden. It reopened this morning.
Motorists on the M62 faced delays of up to four hours last night between junction 20 at Oldham and junction 25 at Dewsbury.
