Delph health centre plan
Date published: 21 December 2012
PLANS have been submitted for a new health centre for Delph.
Saddleworth Medical Practice, based at the existing clinic, has been working with Community 1st Oldham on the plans.
If planning permission is granted, the out-of-date existing building will be demolished and the new centre built on the site, on two floors.
Dr Ian Watson, a GP and partner at Saddleworth Medical Practice, said: “This new building will offer the best possible facilities and provide a better experience for both patients and staff.
The plans say traditional materials, styles and proportions will be used in the building and landscape features important to the character of Delph will be retained.
