Manager of Liquid and Envy nightclubs, Terry Bruce with the latest app for entry to the clubs.
It’ll be an “appy” party season for Oldham’s clubbers, as they can grab special offers, queue jump and guestlist places, thanks to a new iPhone app.
Liquid & Envy’s new Digital Passport app uses special technology which allow revellers to purchase and store e-tickets for the Oldham club, then scan the tickets at the box office.
Club manager Terry Bruce thinks the app will provide a new level of customer service.
He said: “We know that our customers don’t like queuing, especially in the festive season. With this new app, they’ll be able to browse events, choose when they want to visit and buy the package they want.
“All transactions are stored within the app, so they don’t even need to print off vouchers.
“When they’ve bought their ticket, they can just walk straight to the club’s main entrance without queuing.”
And to add to the experience, users can text to a screen above the dancefloor and display their message to the crowd.
Terry added: “With over 2,000 customers a week clubbing in Oldham, this new development will, I am sure, be a welcome improvement in getting the latest information.”
An android version of the free app will be available in January.
