EYES on the prize . . . iPad winner John Mellor

LUCKY John Mellor’s number has come up again — nearly 13 years after winning £91,000 in a national newspaper competition.

This time the 63 year old, from Shaw, won an iPad in our reverse auction — by offering the lowest unique bid of fourpence!

He has already been been surfing the web with his prize and said: “It was a nice surprise — it is something I wanted.”
