Arson charge

A ROYTON man will appear before a crown court judge next month in relation to eight arson attacks on cars in Shaw and Royton during the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Liam Siddall (27), of Chapel Lane, was remanded in custody by Oldham magistrates on Friday after being charged early last week with arson with intent to endanger lives. He was then ordered to appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Friday, February 1.
A second man has also been arrested.
