Axe pair hunted

POLICE have launched an appeal to find armed raiders who broke into a Shaw home and threatened a woman.
The attack occurred in Waveney Street last Tuesday evening
Three men tried to kick in the door before running off to a car.
Later two men in dark clothing forced their way past the victim, who is in her 40s.
During a struggle, one of the men smashed a glass door panel with a small axe.
The raiders were were disturbed by a neighbour.
The offenders, thought to be in their late teens, ran off down Waveney Street.
