A CAR firm has been clocked after selling vehicles with false mileages.
Trading Standards investigated Revolution Motors in Garden Street, Oldham, after complaints from people claiming their cars had been “clocked” - miles deducted from the dashboard meter
One customer was told his car had done 30,000 miles when it had really done 127,000.
Revolution Motors sold the car to a second customer after advertising that it had done 35,000 miles.
The firm pleaded guilty to four offences from 2011, relating to two vehicles.
The company was fined £9,000 and ordered to pay costs of almost £5,000.
