Soccer flare arrest

A MAN has been arrested in Oldham by police investigating a flare set off at the Swansea v Manchester United game in December.
The flare hit the stand roof and bounced into the crowd.
Though no one was hurt, police said the incident was a “totally irresponsible act”.
The 19 year old was arrested on suspicion of having a flare at a sporting event and has been released on police bail.
