THE world’s top rugby league player was the guest of honour at the annual Saddleworth Rangers Burns Night.
Oldham’s Leeds and England captain Kevin Sinfield — holder of the prestigious international Golden Boot award — was among the 220 people at the annual event at the White Hart, Lydgate.
It raised around £10,000 for club funds.
Saddleworth Rangers chairman Terry Flanagan said: “It’s an amazing celebration that we have built up over a number of years to raise vital funds.”
