Pair plead not guilty

A TRIAL date has been set over the death of Sholver man Peter Watt after a man and woman pleaded not guilty to murder.
Bernadette Watt (29), of Vincent Road, and John Connolly (39), of Wells Road, both Sholver, appeared by video link at Manchester Crown Court on Friday, charged with murdering Mr Watt in November.
Mr Watt was found with stab wounds in his chest at a house in Coleridge Road, Sholver, shortly after midnight on November 19. Both defendants will face trial on Monday, April 10.
