One parrot returned - but one still missing

THIS grey parrot is still missing
AN Asperger Syndrome sufferer has been reunited with one of two stolen parrots.
But the 41 year old is desperate to have his second bird returned: the exotic birds form an essential part of his life.
The victim was left devastated when burglars climbed on to the roof of his home in Brierley Street, Hathershaw, sneaked through an upstairs window and took the parrots while he was in another room.
Police say the grey bird was returned following publicity about the theft.
Det Cons Sam Blackwood said: “He is still finding it very hard to cope. He won’t get back to normal until the other one is found. We continue to ask anyone who has information to contact us.”
The burglary occurred sometime between 6pm-9pm last Wednesday. Give information to police on 0161-856 9021 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
