Numbers add up as band’s gigs sell out

AN Oldham pub welcomes a band this weekend that has notched up four UK top 20 singles.
The Magic Numbers will be dusting off old favourites and exclusively introducing new songs for two rare gigs at the Junction Inn, Ripponden Road, Oldham.
Frontman Romeo Stoddart said just over 200 fans at the sold-out shows tonight and tomorrow evening will be among the first to hear “off the press” tracks .
He said: “Kellie and Mike from the Junction have been trying to persuade us to get out of the studio in London for some time now and come here and play.
“We have finished making our new record so it’ll be a definite celebration for us in Oldham. They will be intimate shows reminiscent of a really good house party.”
The pop rock band, who comprise of two pairs of brothers and sisters and whose hits include “Forever Lost” and “Love Me Like You”, have performed all over the globe for the past decade.
